Sugar cookie cake favors
I am not really a big fan of wedding cake. I don't really like all the icing and I would much rather have a muffin or anything from the bread family or even a cookie. For my wedding we had a small cake to cut for tradition and an amazing dessert bar full of ever goody you could think of. The thing with being a bride is that I did not get a chance to eat any of these things. Alex and I both really did not even eat dinner. We just were so pumped up that food was really not our first thought. Good thing we enjoyed the tasting so much. People had warned me of this...I thought they were just being silly...of course we are going to eat...we did not! But back to the cake and dessert. I think these little Sugar cookie cakes are the perfect favor or dessert idea for a wedding or shower. Would love to tear into these after a great party and night full of dancing. You can see a video and get the recipe here. You can purchase the clear acetate boxes here. Just finish everything off with a pretty little ribbon and your good to go!
