Aren't the amethysts above just stunning. It really is amazing what Mother Earth can create. So, I have been away awhile. I have missed you all but enjoyed the time off from my blog. My best friend Eliza came for a visit the same day our house really turned into a dust pile with a fridge in kitchen and 30 boxes full of kitchen cabinets got delivered 3 weeks early. Katie stopped in for a visit too. Its been really crazy and I am getting close to being "over" this renovation. But, good things come to those who wait...and wait I will. Alex is away for work all next week so I will be dining on cereal for every meal.
I made a trip down to Richmond for my Dad's birthday and really had a fabulous time. It had taken some time... but my brother and sister and I are really starting to get along. I just loved hanging with them all.
I really have so many Oscar films to catch up on! I did see The Fighter and LOVED it.
