Atlantic City

On Friday, my two co-workers and I took a day trip to Atlantic City. We have been looking forward to this trip for weeks and it really was J U S T. P E R F E C T. The trip was exactly what we needed. Let me break it down.....

We statyed at The Chelsea Hotel, I have stayed there many times before and its the type of hotel where you want to take everything with you. The bedding, the bed, the lamps, the wall paper, like I want to have a bathroom just like theirs and yes...I LOVE hotels!

The 3 of us shared a room and we had enough clothes and shoes to last about a week. We blasted music and drank champagne while getting ready for dinner. We had a drink at The Chelsea Prime bar and then went to my all time favorite restaurant Gersole for dinner.

Dinner was perfect, of course I had a Margherita pizza. I could not go there and not have it. We then went to casinos and I gambled for the first time. Even though I lived in AC for two years I only played the slot machines like twice and I don't know how to play poker and I don't know the first thing about gambeling. Well, my friend and I played roulette and we won 100 bucks! It was so fun and every time we hit our color we cheered like we had won  thousands! We then went dancing and just had the best time.

Saturday, was spent at the Spa where I had one of the best massages I have had in a long time and then we went shopping. It was one of those perfect 24 hours where everything went our way, we ate the best food, we drank the best drinks, had the best talks, laughed a ton and relaxed just the right enough.

I can't wait to do it again. Love you Elisabeth and Rachel!

I am at an this weird age in my life were I have had to start making new friends. Most all of my college friends have moved away and I now have a totally new group of work people. Its almost like I am new in town. Girlfriends are so important and I have been making some fabulous ones. The past two nights I have had dinner out with the girls. It has been so fun. Anyone of you going thru this too?

Waiting, it drives me crazy. Tonight, I went to visit my chiropractor after work for an adjustment. My neck has been killing me and it was just time to get cracked. My appointment was at 7:30 but I was not seen til 8:40. The longer I sat there the more pissed I got. The person in front of me must have been just as angry because 15 mins into my scheduled time he was just getting seen. I just makes me so annoyed. Don't schedule so many people or at least say sorry. I sat there the whole time and said to myself that I needed to find a new doctor.  When, it was finally my turn I felt I had to say something. I asked him if he always ran an hour late and he was like no and how are you? I had a great adjustment and feel a million times better but I wonder if it is worth it.

The other day I forgot to zip the back of my dress all the way up. It was no big deal, usually so as not to get all wrinkled and messed up I have Alex do it for me. I always think about what if I lived alone and I just could not zip my dress all the way up or even get out of it?! I mean that would be really bad. I think about that a lot for some reason.

I'm back!

had a great trip, wish I was still on it. I have so much to catch up on. blog posts, blogs, have to get back to the gym. all that jazz. where to begin....anywhere would be a start. Colorado pictures are on the way....me on a horse...I would say I am a pretty good cowgirl!!!
