Flower boxes

Boxes topped with flowers make a beautiful centerpiece; a table number is embroidered (written) onto ribbon encircling the largest box. Inside, the stems sit in water bottles stabilized by crumpled paper. Favor boxes, which contain nonpareils, double as place cards.

I love this idea by Martha Stewart. It seems pretty easy to do too. Here is a link to more detailed instructions. You could fill the place card boxes with candy, like pink M&M's or pink Hershey kisses.
