Wild Ink Press
These New Orleans inspired invitation by Wild Ink Press are just so handsome and classy. I love the gray and black and white combo and I love how they really invoke the spirit of New Orleans. Dark but sexy. Wouldn't it be great to get one of these in the mail?

e. m. papers
e.m.papers is such a generous website....they let you download and edit a number of their invitation designs for free. Its so easy...I just did it for the design package above. Totally free! Amazing. Just print it out on nice card stock and your good to go. They have a number of beautiful designs and the ones that do cost something are so inexpensive that it is more than worth it. How nice are they?! Happy printing!

GPS
I have no sense of direction and I mean not even the littlest bit at all. I have ended up in New Jersey a number of times which really is not that easy to do while driving around downtown Philadelphia. Its really pathetic. Like, when I go to the mall no matter what I will walk out of a store and go right. Then a couple of seconds later I will realize that I am going in the wrong direction and have to turn around. Alex, while we are out and about just nudges me in the right direction. Without my GPS I would never get anywhere....Skipper is her name and thou she has gotten me lost a few times ( like 80 miles in the wrong direction when I had to be at a meeting in like 20 mins...it all worked out in the end) I can not live with out her. So, needless to say I think it a good idea to have a nice little map made for your wedding guests to help get them to where they are needed. Some good places:

Sparkle Sparkle
Isn't this color scheme and theme just beautiful. Stars, glitter, sparkle, pink, rose and champagne. Pretty, Pretty indeed. What a wonderful wedding look. I love it all. All these wonderful ideas from Ms. Martha Stewart.
1. Star invitations
2. Star Lanterns (just glitter them yourself)
3. Star Decorations ( you can make them on your own or order them here and then add lots of glitter- make sure to tape them securely to the floor.)
4. Glitter Stars in various sizes ( you can get the glitter for these and the rest of the projects from Michaels.)
5. Glitter ballet slippers- to make, mask off non-glitter areas with tape, apply white glue with a paintbrush, then shake on the glitter.
6. Champagne Jello with fresh whip cream- use a Rose Champagne for pink colored Jello.
7. Glitter Bonbons and Gold-bottom acetate candy box (T111), U.S. Box Corp

Paperless Post
Paperless Post is a new online digital invitation service that puts E-vite to shame. You get to custom design the invitation with your choice of paper stock, font, logo, text and color. You then choose your style of envelope, lined or unlined and whether you want to purchase stamps. Stamps makes the invitation and envelope even more realistic. Once your invitation is complete it is emailed to your guests. The guests receive a virtual envelope and when clicked upon it opens up and the invitation slides out. Its extremely realistic and the details are amazing. You can actually seen the grain of the paper and the details on ribbon...everything. A RSVP tracking system helps you monitor the replies. I just created a birthday invitation for my friend. I am still on the fence about using these for wedding affairs, maybe for a bridal shower...maybe. I would still stick to tradition and mail out the real thing for wedding invitations. Digitally speaking Paperless Post is the best I have seen and its worth organizing a party just to try it out.

Martha is sooooo clever!
You got to give it to Martha Stewart, she is just so clever. I was looking at her website and came across this great idea for envelope addresses. If calligraphy is not really in your budget and you don't want to write by hand then I think this option would be great. You can download a template and work from there.
