Charleston Dog Walking Co.

I met Lauren a couple years ago at our mutual friend's bachelorette party. We hit it off right away. It was like we had been friends for years and that we were just making up for lost time. Like, our conversations were just on pause. We, talked about everything and what I remember most about our weekend hanging out was all of her stories she had about "her girls". You see, "the girls" were Lauren's 3 dogs. I mean, she just went on and on about them. It was the most endearing thing ever.

Well, the most wonderful thing has happened to Lauren and I am so happy to share this with you all. Lauren has started her own dog walking business called, Charleston Dog Walking Co. in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina. Anyone lucky enough to live in Charleston would be honored to have her mind your pets. She is just amazing with animals and people alike. 

You must check out her website. The design is remarkable and so well done and professional. I keep on telling her to move to Pa, so I can hire her to watch my pets. I am so excited for Lauren and wish her all the success in the world!

new house

Alex and I closed on our house today!!! WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!! So exciting...right. Our Realtor told us from the start that it would be an emotional roller coaster and boy was he right. Thinking about buying a house turned out to be more stressful than the actual process of buying the house. Ohh the tears, the stress...blah!  Its a 1950's ranchette ( a girl rancher ). It has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths and is chock full of design possibility.  A new kitchen will be in the works and much much more. We are so excited to not have to move again for a very long time. We have been on the 8 months to 2 year moving path for a long time now. I will make sure to keep you all posted on the design developments and post pictures and everything.

So, tomorrow is my birthday and I would say a new house is a pretty good gift. Let the packing begin...one more time!

Here are a couple of things that make me smile and happy. Prisms, the sunshine that has been visiting us in the North East since Saturday!  Long train rides with people that make me laugh....(I am looking at you...Julie H, Eliza and Alex), listening to mixed CD's that my friends make me, underwater tea parties, going to the lake, the smell of toast in the morning, waking up to birds chirping, sleeping with the window open, the beach, flip flops, good stories, smart water, chocolate, feel good sports movies...they get me everytime, laughing so much that you cry, dinner out with the girls, dinner out with my hubby, my hubby and I guess today I love feeling the sun on me.

I could make this list go on forever...its a fun thing to do...why not give it a go.
