This is a limited edition cup & saucer

I am just totally smitten with this limited edition Cup and Saucer from Click for Art that I saw on Notcot today. Love the colors, but most of all love the bunnies. What a perfect gift. Actually the whole website is amazing and I am so close to buying some things...they are in the shopping cart. Ahhhh, I have to step away.

Sucre, New Orleans

Wanna treat a friend to something sweet, decadent and French? Well, let me suggest macaroons from Sucre. A box of these lovelies ended up on my doorstop one day from my good friend Katie and I have been loving them ever since. I have yet to taste a macaroon as good as the ones from Sucre. They are melt and your mouth amazing.

J R Watkins

Every time I go to Target I pass by the J R Watkins brand of cleaning products and have to talk myself out of buying it. Sure, it was cool looking but right down the self is the dollar brand soap that I always buy. Well, the other day, I took the plunge and bought the Aloe & Green Tea hand soap and I could not be more happy with it. Even Alex loves it, we both love the packaging and it smellllllssss so good and it's made with all natural products and the soap does not dry my hands out. So cool, that I think it would make a great hostess gift.

made with love

I am all about sticking to someones registry...but I don't think its horribly bad to swap out regular measuring spoons for these heart ones. They are still getting what they want.... I actually bought the coffee scoop for A.

Happiness is......

make it a zen green tea with 1.5 packets of splenda and a splash of milk and a gossip magazine with a crossword puzzle at the end and I am soooo good to go!!!

my weekend.

Are you looking for the perfect dish towel to use, frame or gift? Well you need not look any further than To Dry For. com. It has the cutest round up of towels and I know you will all love them.
(Via swissmiss)

So over the weekend, I had a really good shopping day in AC! It was one of those days when everything you try on fits and everything is so well priced. It was super hot, but I loved it. And once again, as it seems to always be the case when A and I go shopping in AC there was a cheer-leading competition being held. It is one freaky sight to behold. Little girls everywhere with make up and hair and yelling and ohhh A could only take so much of it.

Sunday was nice and hot so we took a long hike in the woods...which was great but made us so tired we both had to take a nap. I love when that happens. AND!!! I ate fish for dinner...red snapper to be exact AND I actually LIKED IT!!! This is a BIG DEAL!!! AREN'T you proud of me...I am of me!!

Hope you all had a nice weekend too.

treats and a cat.

Looks like some yummy chocolate, right? Well, its not. Its garden herbs that you plant and then after they grow nice and big you can use them for cooking and as pretty garnishes. Cute presentation. What a great gift.

So my Scouty cat has been soo needy lately....she slept around my neck last night and needs to be snugged with all the time.  Its getting a little warm so as much as I love her...I am not liking it. She has been climbing up the back of my chair to get on my lap while I work on the computer. Its cute until she starts trying to swat at the mouse arrow. But, she is my baby and I love it and how can you not...just look at her.

from eliza......

Hi Folks,
My name is Eliza. I've known Claire since we were wearing acid washed jeans and over-sized sweatshirts.
I have had the pleasure of experiencing Claire as we have both struggled to find ourselves and figure out how to make our mark in the world. Claire has sprouted into a creative guru, which is funny since I was always the artsy person.
Now that Claire and I live further away we do alot of communication thru email. One of our favorite things to do is to find new and fun websites and share them with each other. This blog has quickly become one of my new and favorite websites for creative inspiration.
So here are some of my most commonly visited websites to find unique gifts and fun things. I'm always searching for something unique to buy my friends and family for their birthdays and holidays. These are top websites that I venture to are wrapables and uncommongoods

Aren't these babies just the cutest. What a wonderful favor or gift idea. The recipe and instructions can be found on the yummy website Our Best Bites. They highly recommend making some of these pies and stocking them in the freezer so when you have company you can pull one out and be oh so Betty crocker!

40 Blinks

Right now I know 3 people who are pregnant (Jessica, Ellen and Marylee)...and one blogger. My one friend Marylee told me that she knows 14 people that are mom's to be. I think instead of all the baby clothes and things that I have gotten them in the past and I am sure to in the future I should maybe get them this 40 blinks sleep mask. That way when they  need to catch that little nap at the most random time it might be a little easier for them. As the saying goes...sleep when the baby sleeps. Oh and due to the molded foam of the face mask it won't smudge your make up!!
PS- This site also has some cute baby things and travel gear.
