The King's Speech
Alex and I went out to dinner and a movie last night. It was the perfect date. We have not seem one film that is up for an Oscar. We are so behind. We saw The King's Speech and it was
E X C E L L E N T!! It was the type of film where we walked out of it and both said NOW, that is an Oscar worthy film. Next up, is True Grit. Have a nice weekend.

The Romantics
I am so excited to see this movie. Maybe it is because I will forever love Katie Holmes because I was OBSESSED with Dawson's Creek and I am in love with Josh Duhamel. But, also I think it might be one of those movies you actually want to buy the DVD of. And if by chance you are sick at home or getting over jet lag you can watch it and be really happy. When I lived in Brussels and travel back and forth from the States, Bed of Roses was my go to movie for getting over Jet lag and the Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood is my at home sick movie.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Have you guys read the crime trilogy by Stieg Larsson...the first book being, The girl with the dragon tattoo? Man, those three books were awesome, I could not put them down. If only the author was still alive to write more of them. Such an excellent summer read. If you are about to leave for vacation, make sure to pack all 3 books with you. Hollywood is in the process of casting the roles for an American film version of the books. Above is a trailer for the movie that was already made in Sweden. Intense does not even begin to describe these books.
Ohhh. Alex and I saw the movie Salt the other night and lovedddd it!!! You guys must see it!

James
I was so beyond in love with James Dean growing up. He was just so Hollywood cool and sooo hot! I loved his movies. I mostly loved how he walked and moved. I had so much James Dean paraphernalia it was wack. Once Christmas my family even gave me a 24x48 size poster of him. My love for him faded in time, I don't have him all over the walls any more but, when I see pictures like this I kinda gasp a little bit. I mean...just look at him.

EAT, PRAY, LOVE
I am so excited for this movie to come out. It was such a treasure of a book to read. The type of book that you want to quote from, or at least write them down. At first I was not too happy to hear that Julia Roberts got the lead role but after watching the trailer my mind is slowly beginning to change.
I have read the sequel to Eat, Love Pray which is called Committed and it too is a book that I could see myself reading twice. It talks about the act of being committed/married to someone and how it differs so much from one culture to the next and thru history. It is a must read for those who think they might or might not ever want to be married or are.
Have you read this book? What did you think?
