yuck....

The other day I was listening to NPR and they talked about this website called "I write like". You copy in an example of your writing/blog/tweet into the website and it will analyze your words and tell you which famous writer you write like. I was very excited to see what would come up. My first text results came up with David Foster Wallace...I have no idea who this is and have not read any of his work. So, I decided I would try another sample of text from my blog. Well, the second time...it came up with Stephenie Meyer...I again did not know who this was...then I did a little research...and man...I about cried. The author of Twilight...just kill me. I am not a fan. Granted I have not read the books, but I saw the first movie and that was enough for me. Maybe if I were to read the books, I might feel a little better but right now...I. JUST. DON'T. But wait...maybe I am such a good writer, that one day millions will read my blog. Ok, I feel better.

a must watch....

soo sweet!!! I have watched this about 5 times already!
In Carbonero's post-match interview with her emotional Golden Gloves-winning boyfriend, she tried to keep things professional, but Iker just couldn't resist diving in for a big kiss after thanking his parents, his brother, his friends and finally, Sara.

James

I was so beyond in love with James Dean growing up. He was just so Hollywood cool and sooo hot! I loved his movies. I mostly loved how he walked and moved. I had so much James Dean paraphernalia it was wack. Once Christmas my family even gave me a 24x48 size poster of him. My love for him faded in time, I don't have him all over the walls any more but, when I see pictures like this I kinda gasp a little bit. I mean...just look at him.

J R Watkins

Every time I go to Target I pass by the J R Watkins brand of cleaning products and have to talk myself out of buying it. Sure, it was cool looking but right down the self is the dollar brand soap that I always buy. Well, the other day, I took the plunge and bought the Aloe & Green Tea hand soap and I could not be more happy with it. Even Alex loves it, we both love the packaging and it smellllllssss so good and it's made with all natural products and the soap does not dry my hands out. So cool, that I think it would make a great hostess gift.

alot....

I am not the best speller, and defiantly not the best at grammar so when I came across this post I was quite impressed at how helpful it was.  For instance Alot and a lot get mixed up quite a bit so this is what you need to know.

A LOT means "Very many, a large number; also, very much. For example, A lot of people think the economy is declining, or Sad movies always made her cry a lot."

and when you see the word alot...this is what you can think of.....

or

Now that you know what an alot is you won't use it wrong anymore...I like this a lot...I keep thinking back to it when I type.
