Don't you agree? Did everyone have a nice weekend?

We got our Christmas tree on Saturday and decorated the house and had Alex's work party that night. It was fun to dress up.

Sunday, we took a trip to Baltimore to visit my friend Emily at the hospital. She is doing remarkably well. It was a special moment that I was happy to be a part of. Her world is about taking the next step right now and being with her is all encompassing. We sat around, ate clementines, did hair, laughed and played scratch off lottery tickets. And then laughed some more. Laughing is a bit part of her family.

The Beekmans Boys and Brad Pitt

On Sunday, I had the most wonderful day with my good friend Crystal. She and her boyfriend came for a visit and while the boys spent the day at home watching football and doing other boy things she and I spent the day at Terrain meeting the Beekman Boys and watching Brad Pitt!!! So perfect, don't you think.

Have you seen the show "the Beekman Boys"? It is on Planet Green, and I really kind of love it. Josh and Brent were at Terrain signing copies of their new cook book and we actually stood in line for almost 2 hours to get my copy signed. Crystal was such a good sport, she did not even know of "the Boys" and still joined me to meet them. Now, I normally would never do something like that. There are not many things worth 2 hours of waiting for....but for some reason I/we did it and well, I got a little star struck. Those "Boys" were beyond charming and I am sure if they had the time they would have totally have wanted to hang out with us. It was so cute. I asked them about Poka Spot, their lama and they said she was fine and then gave us lama cookies. It was fun!

We then headed to the cinema and saw Money Ball with Brad Pitt. It was not the feel good sports movie I thought it was going to be but I really enjoyed it none the less. I really just love Mr. Pitt and quite enjoyed watching him on screen for a couple of hours. I hope everyone had a nice weekend, it was just so nice to be out and about.

Weekend in review!
Thanksgiving was a blast until every single one of us from baby to a pregnant mommy came down with a touch of Turkey Day food poisoning. Ahh, it has be a rough...alot of sleeping and chicken noodle soup. No leftovers for us!

Our block has exploded with Christmas lights and decorations. Alex and I made a little trip out to Target today to see about getting a wreath for our front door but everything was so picked thru that it was sad. We can't be the only house on the block with nothing!! Know any good places to get a pretty wreath?

I must admit I have been listening to Christmas music well before Thanksgiving! I can't wait to see everyones gift guides...I am a little clueless as to what I want to be wising for.

Such well put posters... I hope everyone had a nice weekend. The big move happens this weekend. I am ready to get it all done. My entire family is coming to help and my Mom said that we should just get it done real quick and then party! That is the plan.

I keep on procrastinating on packing up the kitchen...ahh...too many dishes.

On Sunday, I met up with some old dear friends who used to be neighbors but moved to Canada...they now have two boys and they are so cute that I could eat them right up. We just had to most wonderful breakfast together and openly dreamed about living close to each other again. Their flight home got delayed so I sent them real estate links and an article on why they should move to my new neighborhood. Old friends are the best. Hanging out with them, just really and truly warmed my heart.
